Doris Rappold. In
2006 she was named Division 4A Distinguished Seretary
Steve Childers. In
2006 he was awarded first place for his 2004-05 Kenner North
Kiwanis newsletter in the District's Orange category.
Don W. Weekley Jr. and Jay
Vallelungo of
the Kenner North Kiwanis Club were both honored at the 2002
Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee District Convention
in Baton Rouge.
Vallelungo, then district governor, was named a Distinguished
Kiwanian of the year.
Weekley, who retired after eight
years of service as secretary of the Kenner North Kiwanis Club,
was honored as an "Outstanding Club Secretary."
The Kenner North club was also honored, receiving the
District Chairman's Award and the Lieutenant Governor's Award.
All the awards were in reconition of services performed in
the Kiwanis year ending Sept. 30, 2001.
